An Aberfeldy single cask distillery exclusive 22 year old. The delicate, sweet spirit for this whisky was distilled in 2001 with initial ageing in bourbon cask. The finish was in an ex-Oloroso sherry cask for a lengthy 15 months before bottling in 2024 at a cask strength of 50.2% abv.
The influence of the sherry cask maturation shines through with notes of dried fruits, chocolate, leather, tobacco and warming spices on the palate. A perfect Highland single cask whisky to sip on that special occasion!
