Installation Steps
- Mark perimeter and post positions every 6 ft. Use longer string lines for accuracy.
- Drive 7-ft T-posts 24 in deep (2 ft burial) at each mark. Critical for 4-ft fence stability.
- Unroll 5-ft wide welded wire. Attach to posts with heavy-duty clips every 8 in vertically.
- Dig 18-in deep trench. Bury bottom 18 in of wire. Create 6-in outward L-apron at bottom.
- Backfill trench in 6-in lifts, tamping each layer. Apron must lie flat underground.
- Install heavy-duty gate kit with diagonal cross-brace. Use lag bolts for hinge posts.
- Tension wire with come-along. Check for sag. Add mid-span supports if spans exceed 6 ft.
